Abstract

Orthodontic treatment plays a vital role in correcting malocclusions, improving oral function, and enhancing aesthetic appearance. This article critically reviews the various detrimental outcomes associated with orthodontic therapy, including physiological, psychological, systemic, and appliance-related complications. It also explores management strategies aimed at preventing or mitigating these effects.
